SHANDON TONRY

Shandon grew up in California. She joined the Army in 1990 and served during Operation Desert Storm. Shandon attended law school in San Diego, California at Thomas Jefferson School of Law where she enjoyed success on the school’s Mock Trial Team.

Upon graduation, she took and passed the Texas Bar and was offered a job with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. Shandon spent her time with the DA’s office in the trial bureau. After her time as an Assistant District Attorney, she spent several years as a defense attorney. In her off time, she taught criminal justice classes.

Shandon has also worked at Lone Star Legal Aid where she represented survivors of sexual assault. She enjoys helping clients navigate their cases to help them reach a successful outcome.
